In Your Kindness
Please remember the sick of our Parish Community in your prayers: Arlene Scherber, Justin Smith, Jack & Pat Bradford, Dolores Skorpak, Mark Shields, Rita Casserly, Chris Reardon, Evie Lausen, Jason Dahl, and Bill Schwartz. In your kindness, pray for the souls of Theresa Benson, friend of Sandy Meyer, and David Kaczmarek, TOR, who died last week. May they rest in peace!
State Fair Opportunity
For over 65 years, our neighbors at Salem Lutheran Church have been operating a diner at the Minnesota State Fair. Like us, they are an older and smaller congregation and are no longer able to manage the diner by themselves. Young people and adults are invited to consider taking a shift or two during the days of the ―Great Minnesota GetTogether.‖ Along with the opportunity to work at the diner, volunteers will get transportation to and from Salem Lutheran, free admission to the State Fair, and youth volunteers will get a cash stipend for each shift. For more information, call 763-561-9185 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please remember our CORNER at the Festival and consider donating something. You may leave your card with your product, hopefully getting some future business ! Any questions please call Kathleen Ross (763) 535-7758
Who wants to be a Thousand-Aire?
It’s not quite a million, but who couldn’t use an extra $1000 - the grand prize in our Heart of the Northside Festival Raffle. Be sure to pick up your tickets in the back of the church, sell them, and return your raffle tickets stubs to church. (This will help save us expensive postage.) Who knows… you or a relative or friend might be a winner. Extra tickets will be available at the parish office. Did you know… the raffle is the biggest single fundraiser for our festival! Please do your part to make this year’s raffle even more successful!

Our yearly summer neighborhood get together will take place on Wednesday, July 22nd at 6:00 PM on the Emerson Avenue side of our St. Bridget Campus. Soda and non-perishable wrapped goodies can be dropped off any time before the event. Pies, bars, and cookies should be delivered the day of the event. We invite you to save the day on your calendar, to join us, and to invite a friend or neighbor!
