Parishioners gathered at Christ Lutheran across the street from the Capitol for a training session on GAMC (General Assistance Medical Care), then prayed in front of the governor's office--Br. John led part of the prayer--and then visited Sen. Higgins. The event was ISAIAH's Day on the Hill Feb.15th to move our legislators to vote to save GAMC. The loss of its funding will cause the poorest of our brothers and sisters in Minnesota to have no health care.
