FUNERALS, WEDDING, BAPTISMS
These may be celebrated at either campus, depending on the wishes of the person/family involved. Families are also welcome to invite priest/deacons in good standing to preside or concelebrate at any of these events.
The calendars of St Bridget varied ministries are layered like transparencies. The calendar operations have controls that are a series of pulldowns, tabs and arrows. The unmarked pulldown arrow next to the agenda controls which of the selected calendars are visible. The Agenda view functions much like a daytimer in that all events are chronologically listed and do not have a special presentation aspect. The Week tab offers a 7 column list, with events blocked off. The Month view (default) is the conventional 5x7 grid. The rest of the buttons are fairly intuitive.
One calendar that we used to offer was the liturgical calendar. Since the regular liturgy schedule is posted on the left below the menu, the liturgical calendar was left off to mnimize the busy presentation of the Monthly view.
Event details, if available, are only a click away. Click on the event, and the details are available as a popup.
One of the aspects that we hope to work around is the lack of word or line wrap for events on the Monthly view. If you see something that is close to what you are looking for, click for details, or switch to the Week or Agenda tab. You will then get the full text of the title displayed.
