These may be celebrated at either campus, depending on the wishes of the person/family involved. Families are also welcome to invite priest/deacons in good standing to preside or concelebrate at any of these events.
Hospital Eucharistic Ministers
St. Bridget's, along with other parishes in the area, sends Eucharistic Ministers to North Memorial Hospital to bring Holy Communion to Catholic patients. Presently, we send two different crews of ministers on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday mornings at 9:00 AM, and on the 5th Wednesday if there is one in a particular month. We are in need of a few volunteers who could work one or either of those times. Training is provided and North Memorial Hospital requires a background check. You do not need to be a Eucharistic Minister in the parish. Please call the Parish Office during regular hours if you are able to help with this important outreach to our hospitalized sisters and brothers recalling the words of Jesus, "I was sick and you came to visit me."
