FUNERALS, WEDDING, BAPTISMS
These may be celebrated at either campus, depending on the wishes of the person/family involved. Families are also welcome to invite priest/deacons in good standing to preside or concelebrate at any of these events.

will be rehearsing for one hour after Masses at St. Bridget’s on Sundays, December 9th, 16th, & 23rd. All youth are welcome and encouraged to attend.

In the Music Ministry, cantors, choir members and musicians aid in praise and lead the congregation in prayer and worship. This includes learning new styles and songs to inspire everyone to take part in the celebration. After all, “Those who sing pray twice.” (St. Augustine)
Are you interested in singing in the choir? You need to be able to work in a group, take direction and have fun with music. Patience and a willingness to try new kinds of music are important. Of course, you need to sing, but you don't need a lot of music background. We will work with you at practice. Practices are Thursdays, 6:30-8PM, from September through May. On average they are weekly, but there may be more in the weeks leading up to holy days and fewer in between. The choir takes most of the summer off, only practicing for special events or holy days.

Cantors sing at weekend Masses, selected holidays and High Masses. Cantors need to spend some individual time in preparation. Many are also members of the choir and may use some of that practice time to prepare for the weekend's Masses. You do not have to join the choir to be a cantor.
